Suboxone

Suboxone is a prescription medication used to treat opioid dependence and addiction. It combines two active ingredients: buprenorphine, a partial opioid agonist that helps reduce withdrawal symptoms and cravings, and naloxone, an opioid antagonist that helps prevent misuse by blocking the euphoric effects of opioids.

Suboxone is typically taken as a sublingual film or tablet and is a key part of Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) programs. It allows individuals recovering from opioid addiction to stabilize their condition, reduce illicit drug use, and work toward long-term recovery while minimizing the risk of relapse.
